YANGON, Nov 26 (NNN-MNA) – The death toll of COVID-19 has risen to 1,810 in Myanmar as of yesterday, according to a release from the Health and Sports Ministry.
Myanmar reported 26 new deaths, of which 23 were infected patients, with underlying diseases, in the past 24 hours, the release said.
The number of confirmed cases has increased to 83,566 so far, with 1,330 new cases.
A total of 63,366 recovered patients have been discharged from hospitals.
The virus was first detected in Myanmar on Mar 23, and over 1.076 million samples have been tested for the disease.– NNN-MNA
