BUENOS AIRES, Nov 26 (NNN-BERNAMA) — Argentine football legend Diego Maradona died Wednesday, Sputnik news agency reported citing Argentine broadcaster TN.
The 1986 World Cup Champion was 60 years old.
He was taken to one of the hospitals for medical examination on Oct 30, but it was later announced that he had undergone brain surgery. Maradona was discharged on Nov 12.
According to local media Maradona died of a heart attack at his home in Tigre, Argentina.
