Two Daesh Commanders Killed In NW Pakistan: Security Officials

ISLAMABAD, Nov 24 (NNN-APP) – Pakistani security forces, killed two commanders of the militant group, Daesh, in Bajaur tribal district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, security officials in the area said yesterday.

The forces carried out an intelligence-based operation Sunday night, raided a Daesh hideout and killed two commanders named Zubair and Aziz-ur-Rehamn, security officials told reporters in Bajaur. A security official was also injured during the exchange of fire.

Zubair was wanted by the security forces for his involvement in terrorist acts. Security officials said that a huge quantity of explosives, rockets, IEDs and landmines were also recovered from the hideout.

A few days back, Pakistani security forces killed a Daesh member in Bajaur.– NNN-APP
