KABUL, Nov 21 (NNN-AGENCIES) – Several people were feared killed or wounded, after two explosions and ensuing rocket attacks hit Kabul, causing panic in the Afghan capital today, witnesses said.
“Two improvised bomb explosions hit two vehicles in the morning rush hour. The blasts were followed by at least 10 rockets fired from a mini truck. The rockets struck multiple locations in the city,” witness, Mohammad Usman, said.
The rocket explosions caused panic among the people, as they took refuge from the rockets, he said.
Police vans and ambulances of Kabul Ambulance Service, were running around the city, to transport the wounded.– NNN-AGENCIES
“Two rockets hit an area near the Interior Ministry and one rocket hit central Kabul near the Ministry of Information and Culture. Multiple people were affected by the rockets shrapnel,” witness Farhad Mohammad told Xinhua.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks so far.
