RAMALLAH, Nov 17 (NNN-WAFA) – Palestinian Prime Minister, Mohammed Ishtaye, said yesterday that, Israel continues its plan to build more settlement houses in Palestine.
Ishtaye said, during an online meeting of the Palestinian Authority’s cabinet that, Israel “races against time, to impose new facts on the ground, in the Palestinian territories.”
He warned of “the unprecedented dangerous developments” in the Israeli settlement activities, in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
The prime minister noted that, an escalated Israeli plan would go on for 10 weeks, to build more housing units, adding that, Israel plans to “suffocate neighbourhoods in the West Bank and isolate it from East Jerusalem.”
Israel occupied the West Bank and East Jerusalem in 1967, and has constructed settlements there. The Palestinians insist that settlement is illegal and violates international law.– NNN-WAFA
