YANGON, Nov 17 (NNN-MNA) – The number of COVID-19 cases in Myanmar has increased to 70,161, as of yesterday, according to a press release from the Ministry of Health and Sports.
A total of 1,167 more cases were reported yesterday, in the country.
The death toll of COVID-19 reached 1,599, with 22 newly reported cases yesterday, the release said.
According to the ministry’s figures, 53,299 patients have been discharged from hospitals so far.
A total of 911,739 samples have been tested for COVID-19 so far, the ministry’s figures showed.– NNN-MNA
