BANGKOK, Nov 11 (NNN-TNA) – Thailand’s Prime Minister, Prayut Chan-o-cha, instructed all government agencies, to purchase electric vehicles, to gradually replace gasoline-powered vehicles, said government spokesman, Anucha Burapachaisri.
The prime minister gave his directive for future procurements of electric vehicles, for use by government officials, including members of the cabinet, Anucha said.
The preference for electric cars is meant to reduce air pollution and promote the use of clean energy, he said.– NNN-TNA
