Cambodia To Suffer From Impacts Of Two Tropical Storms In Coming Days

PHNOM PENH, Nov 10 (NNN-AKP) – Cambodia’s Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MWRM), announced today, the country will suffer from the impacts of two tropical storms in the coming days.

Tropical storm Etau is forecast to track across southern Vietnam and eastern Cambodia on Nov 10 (today), before weakening into a depression, the MWRM said, adding, Etau’s impact will cause moderate-to-heavy rainfall in plain, plateau and coastal regions on Nov 11 and 12.

The other storm is Vamco, that occurred in the Philippines and it will batter central Vietnam on Nov 15, before weakening into a depression that will bring light-to-moderate rainfall in Cambodia from Nov 15 to 17, the MWRM said.

“In the coastal areas, sea waves will be fairly high,” the ministry said, urging the public to be extra vigilant to avoid any possible dangers.– NNN-AKP
