Brunei Reports No New COVID-19 Cases For 17 Straight Days

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Nov 9 (NNN-ANN) – Brunei reported no new cases of COVID-19 yesterday, with the national tally of cases standing at 148.

It marked the 17th consecutive day without new cases, since Oct 22, when the country recorded an imported case from Kuala Lumpur.

According to Brunei’s Ministry of Health, one more recovery was recorded, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 145. There is no active case being treated at the National Isolation Centre.

Meanwhile, currently there are 316 individuals who are undergoing mandatory isolation at the monitoring centrrs provided by the government, as they have arrived in the country after travelling abroad.

There have been three deaths, so far, that resulted from COVID-19 complication in Brunei.– NNN-ANN
