HANOI, Nov 9 (NNN-VNA) – A car accident in northern Vietnam’s Ha Giang province, left three people dead and four others injured, yesterday.
The accident happened at around 11:00 a.m. local time, when a car, carrying seven people, fell into a gorge in Dong Van district.
Three women aged 47 to 58 were killed on the spot, and four others were injured, it was reported, adding that, local authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
Between Jan and Oct, a total of 11,653 traffic accidents occurred in Vietnam, killing 5,456 people, severely injuring 3,523, and slightly injuring 5,107, according to the country’s Traffic Police Department.– NNN-VNA
